I can’t help but think about it today…It’s just it was such a big part of me and I have to admit that bein there for a year has really helped me grow into something better. It’s as if I’ve a big chunk of my heart there, and I want to go back and retrieve it. I want to relive those moments that made me so happy. Take those pictures that truly capture the ESSENCE of what happiness is. I want Venice to be next door….not an ocean away.
nel cuore non resta più posto per altro <3

Well hello there people, let’s talk about my serious fail in trying to keep up with my last 30 days in Venice. Sorry about that, but the last 30 days were definitely emotional. I mean all kinds of emotions; happy, sad, nostalgia, love. I literally left a part of me back in that city.
Being there has helped me grow up a little and learn to appreciate results that come from hard work. I’ve also learned that good friends are hard to come by, but once you run into them, make sure you keep them around ;)
I’ve been home about two weeks now, and it feels a little like vacation. I know though that once school kicks in, I’m gonna be wanting to be back in the lagoon. :( Leaving Venice was by far one of the hardest things I’ve had to do in my life (so far). I tried not to cry, but the waterworks just kept on coming and coming..I couldn’t even muster the courage to take one last glance at Erasmo. Seeing him going farther and farther away was only gonna make it worse. I MUST also add that I probably was the prettiest girl at the airport. (sarcasm) I mean really, who’s pretty when they cry? NO ONE.
Any way, looking back at it now still makes me a little sentimental. Mostly because I have so many great memories that I can look back on. It has been one amazing year, and I can’t wait to see what the future will hold for me.
I know I’ll be back for San Marco <3

Numero 28: le montagne. I loved those days when I walked to class and was able to see the mountains in the distance…beats the hobos in Atlanta ;)
