SORRY GUYS!
I know you guys probably gave up on my blog…being that I’ve SUCKED keeping up with it. Well it’s been a little over 5 weeks since my last post, and I’m happy to say that I’m back home from Perugia, Italia!!! It was ammmazing. Umbria is such a gorgeous region. So full of life and so full of..idk. It’s beauty is indescribable. Being fully emerged in the Italian culture was by far one of the greatest experiences I’ve had. There I was, in the middle of Italy, forced to speak a language I ALMOST understand. I felt like for the past five weeks I was truly living ‘la bella vita.’
But as we all know, life is not all play and no work. As soon as I returned home, I started summer classes the next day…shoot me. I’m taking Accounting 1 and Microeconomics. Moving on from this sore subject, I am preparing more and more every day for my travels to VENEZIA!!! WOOO WOOO WOO! I am not sure if i’ve mentioned this but…..
I WAS ACCEPTED INTO THE ATLANTIS CA’FOSCARI-GSU EXCHANGE! (crowd cheers!). I have been awarded the grant of $12,000 and in addition have received a scholarship from GSU of $1500. AWESOME! I see a lot of library time in my future. Those classes in Italy are NO JOKE. I’m actually a bit nervous about it…although I am a decent student with decent grades…my study habits are absolutely horrid. They are as stable as a hollywood couples marriage. I’ll be working on that. It’s part of my maturity plan, WHICH (btw) I hope this experience will help me and craft me into a more mature and responsible adult than what I am now of course…hahaha. Maybe my silly lame jokes won’t go away …but there will definitely be some changes in my character that I need to make. IN EVERY aspect of my life.
Any who…I shall be posting tomorrow, yes, tomorrow…the days are only coming closer to when I depart for my studies abroad..aka adventuresssss. I can’t wait *sigh*
